1. Digital service & billing
AbstractBuddy is an online lease analysis service operated by Real Spark LLC in Hamilton, Ohio, United States. There are no physical goods to ship or return. Paid access and purchased capacity activate after payment is successfully confirmed. Document processing time varies by workload and document complexity.
Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Prices are in US dollars, with applicable taxes added as shown during purchase. The 30-day free trial requires no payment card and does not automatically convert to a paid subscription. See pricing and our Terms & Conditions for package and usage details.
2. How to cancel
An organization administrator can sign in, open Billing & team, and select Cancel at period end under Payment settings. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent the next recurring charge. Check the displayed access-through date to confirm the cancellation is scheduled.
Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not immediately end access or refund the current period. Access continues through the paid period. After the trial or paid period ends, a 30-day recovery window permits reading and exporting existing results, without new processing or editing. After that window, billing remains accessible, but ordinary document access requires restored eligibility. Security, legal, or revoked-access restrictions may limit access independently.
Deleting a document, removing a teammate, or stopping use of the service does not cancel your subscription or reduce purchased seats. Downgrades and seat reductions take effect at renewal. Cancellation does not automatically delete stored data.

3. Unused abstracts & purchased packs
Unused monthly abstracts expire at renewal and do not roll over. Purchased packs expire 12 months after purchase and require an active paid subscription to use. Canceling does not erase unexpired packs, but you must resubscribe before they expire to use them. Cancellation does not pause or extend expiration dates.
Unused or expired credits, unused seats, and partial subscription periods generally do not qualify for refunds. System-failure retries are free; adding documents later or requesting fresh analysis counts as a new abstract.
4. Refund eligibility
Subscription fees, seat charges, upgrades, and purchased abstract packs are generally nonrefundable once paid. We do not routinely provide prorated refunds for cancellation, nonuse, partial billing periods, or unused credits.
Exceptions apply to verified billing errors, such as duplicate or incorrect charges; paid purchases we cannot fulfill; and refunds required by applicable law. We will investigate reported problems and correct verified billing errors or refund the unfulfilled portion of a purchase as appropriate. A failed document-processing attempt does not by itself mean the entire subscription was unfulfilled; we can investigate the failure and applicable credit or retry correction.
Any separately negotiated written refund terms agreed with Real Spark LLC control where they conflict with this policy. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under applicable law.
5. Requesting help or a refund
Email [email protected] with your organization name, account email, charge date and amount, invoice or receipt reference if available, and a description of the issue. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, or card security codes. Report suspected billing errors promptly so we can investigate.
We may request information needed to verify the purchase and your authority. We will communicate the outcome and any corrective action by email. Approved refunds are generally issued through Stripe to the original payment method; the time for a credit to appear depends on the payment provider and financial institution. Refunded purchases may have their associated unused credits or capacity adjusted.
